We live in a very superficial society. It is very easy to fall into the trap of looking only at the surface of people, things, and ideas without taking the time and effort to delve deeper into them.

It is one of life’s tragedies when you meet someone that you believe was your soul mate but due to unanticipated circumstances and misunderstandings, that person becomes only someone you once knew. No one knew the day would come when you would walk right pass someone that at one point in your life was a big part of it, and how you used to be able to talk to them for hours about life. Now you can barely look at them, and all you have left is that aching feeling in your soul.
